Hi all Godly-types, non-Godly-types, atheists, celebrants, anti-slavery
campaigners, interested cityfolk, contemplators and the
generally-interested:

Just a note to say that there is a church service taking place this Sunday,
March 25, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Abolition of Slavery.

Now whether you're a person who never goes to church, or a regular
worshipper, this event may interest you - and you're invited.

The service is happening at 3pm in St Andrew's Church and includes:

myself performing Bob Marley with the Lord Mayor of Plymouth Michael
Fletcher
The All Nations Ministries Youth Choir

A performance by actor David Oddie, who leads the groundbreaking ARROW
programme, based at Marjon: www.art-peace.co.uk
[http://www.art-peace.co.uk/]
Music from Ayodele Scott, well known in the city for his drumming

The service is open to all (I don't think there's a dress code!) and even if
you're not remotely religious, consider taking time out to contemplate this
important anniversary.

Katie
